						"I am writing to discuss my family's experience with Kings River Expeditions on a two day trip that we took on June 16 and 17, 1999. I learned of your company from an advertisement in a local San Diego weekly newspaper. My many questions were answered by phone in a most friendly and courteous fashion. I appreciated having an 800 number where someone actually answered the phone most everytime I called. I was especially concerned since I was bringing my 11 and 13 year old children on their first rafting trip. It seemed your company was sensitive to the needs of families and this was indeed confirmed during our visit. Your entire staff was both friendly and interested in making sure we had a good time, and properly fed! Although it was very hot there we always had a shady place to go and something cool to drink. And they put on a very funny show one evening, in spite of being a bit short-staffed. All in all we were happy with the trip and experience, swimming through the rapids notwithstanding. 						"I am writing this letter to tell you how much we appreciate what you have done for providing the Stone Soup summer program with a white water rafting trip. The thirty-four teenagers who participated in the trip on July 29 had a really fun time. Cries of fear quickly turned into cheers of joy as they made their way down the Kings River. To go from being afraid to having a blast is not something that can just happen. You helped make this possible. These teenagers are living in a neighborhood which the 1990 census labeled 'the neighborhood with the densest number children living below the poverty level in all of California.' You can imagine what an uplifting experience a trip like this can do for them. Thank you for the trip that you granted us. Your generosity will go a long way in making this summer a memorable experience for the teenagers. I am enclosing a schedule of all the shows that we will be producing for the summer.
